200x: started on anti-benzo, zopiclone

Due to just occasional insomnia

noticed the risk of benzodiazepine. But still thought anti-benzo should be no problem.

2015: Physical condition became bad

Continued cold-like sickness. No any clue of problem at all clinical inspection. Took strategy to get rid of risk factors.

2016: withdrawal

quited cigarette ➡ alcohol ➡ zopiclone. my status went well after stopping alcohol and able to sleep without zopiclone. In this process I met Ashton Manual, and noticed anti-benzos is also a benzo family (Z drug). Switched to flunitrazepam according to Ashton Manual's instruction “switch to medium half-life benzo to reduce drug” ( Maximum failure! . I switched by myself without careful examination.)

2016: living hell

rapid taper of flunitrazepam. extreme withdrawal.

2016～2017: reinstatement

Two months after jumping, reinstated flunitrazepam. Another two months later added 10mg of diazepam. Got stable enough for proceeding several years tapering.

I was a user of the non-benzodiazepine drug zopiclone (trade name Amoban). In the latter half of 2015, my physical condition deteriorated and various tests showed no abnormalities, so I reorganized my diet and investigated risk factors such as alcohol and eliminate them one by one. In the process, he learned about the dangers of benzo and that non-benzodiazepines are also part of the benzo family, and decided to withdraw. From half-hearted knowledge, replaced with one of the strongest benzos, flunitrazepam at my own discretion (the biggest failure). Experience withdrawal symptoms like living hell with a rapid withdrawal of flunitrazepam. After that, reinstatement of flunitrazepam and adding diazepam 10 mg were successful to stabilize "to some extent". Started micro-tapering with help of the my GP (February 2017). Flunitrazepam tapering completed (January 2020). Currently, diazepam tapering is in process. My profession is an engineer.
